Rudder Tip Anti-Collision Light LED Conversion

To provide an upgraded rudder tip mounted LED Anti-Collision light assembly. The original rudder tip mounted incandescent teardrop light assembly (P/N 151-0008) and flash sequence box (P/N 150-0013) have been obsoleted. This Custom Kit provides instructions for replacing the rudder tip Anti-Collision light with a new LED alternative assembly. The Custom Kit is not compatible with aircraft that have factory original fiberglass composite rudder tips (models 685, 690/A/B). Aluminum Rudder Tip assemblies are required for this modification. Completion of SB 235 replacement of fiberglass composite rudder tips with aluminum spares per memo 420156M1 is a mandatory prerequisite for this Custom Kit.
